Your final project presentation will be a demonstration that you possess the necessary materials and skills to participate professionally in the media and art communities in Chicago and around the world.
This includes:
1) A fully developed artist’s website with statement, bio, and examples of work
2) An actual submission to a festival, conference, or grant opportunity-(hard copy of all materials turned in)
3) A short 15 minute talk that describes your particular artistic practice and most importantly, your historical context, important precedents and influences, and one example of a current project. This is a public speaking activity so the primary evaluation here will be both in delivery and content.
